National Day Fireworks Cruises
Celebrate the Chinese National Day with Saffron Cruises for the best view of the Harbour Fireworks! On October 1st the Hong Kong Government is staging its renowned and world famous fireworks in Hong Kong Harbour and Saffron has reserved the best seats for you on our vessels. Join us for an evening of fun, food and great firework entertainment.
Food will be served in buffet style and includes the following western and Chinese selection:

Hummus with Pitta Bread
Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolled with BBQ Duck,
Lettuce, Mint & Plum Sauce
Asparagus & Black Mushrooms seared Beef Fillet Rolls, Sichuan Sauce

Each passenger will be served with a
welcome champagne and issued 3 tickets
which can be redeemed for either a beer, a glass of wine or a soft drink.
However, you are also welcome to BYO.
Ice will be provided for free.
History of the Chinese National Day:
The PRC was founded on October 1, 1949 with a ceremony at Tiananmen Square. The Central People's Government passed the Resolution on the National Day of the People's Republic of China on December 2, 1949 and declared that October 1 is the National Day.
The National Day is the start of one of the Golden Weeks in China. The National Day is celebrated throughout mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau with a variety of government-organised festivities, including fireworks and concerts.
